FAQs about the changes at the Farmington Library

To place a hold on an item owned by the Avon Library: enter your library card number and your password (the default password is "changeme"). We will call when the item is available for pickup.

If the item you want is not owned by the Avon Library, you can search all the Connect Libraries from the same catalog, by changing the library option to "all."

To place a hold on an item at a different Connect Library: enter your library card number and your password (the default password is "changeme".) The library that owns the item will send it to the Avon Library for you, and we will call when the item is available for pickup. This usually takes around 4-7 days.

If the item you want is not owned by any of the Connect Libraries, you can search the ReQuest statewide catalog.

To request an item from a non-Connect library within the state of CT: please complete our Interlibrary Loan Request Form.
