2019 CTDA Open Meeting

Join the us at the Avon Free Public Library on June 17th for the 2019 CTDA Open Meeting! Come hear from the CTDA and other archivists, curators, and librarians about digital heritage projects created in Connecticut.
The meeting will be an all day event with registration opening at 9:30am, the program beginning at 10:00am and the final session wrapping up at 3:45pm. We are excited to have Courtney Mumma, Deputy Director of the Texas Digital Library (TDL), speak about community building in digital archives/libraries.
At the meeting, the CTDA team will review CTDA projects undertaken in the past year, layout a roadmap for future enhancements for the program, and answer questions concerning the direction of the repository program. There will also be two breakout sessions after lunch for attendees to connect to discuss digital projects in Connecticut.
There is no cost to attend the meeting and registration is open to anyone and everyone who is interested in digital heritage initiatives and projects. Register here
Keynote Speaker: Courtney Mumma
“With a Little Help from My Friends”
Courtney Mumma is the Deputy Director of the Texas Digital Library (TDL). In her keynote, Courtney will highlight how community drives progress through collaboration with member institutions, finding common needs and resources to share amongst partners, and how communities are influencing developments on the national and international level.
