Learning with the iPad for Adults. We’ll explore the world of free online courses that are available from platforms like iTunes U, Coursera, Lynda.com and content from most major universities on a wide variety of topics. We’ll also take a look at free online reference providers that provide online books, magazines, audiobooks, etc. Class taught by Sue Werner.
Sunday, 1/13/19, Productivity with iOS
Learn how to use a combination of built-in applications for productivity on the iOS. We’ll cover using combinations for different scenarios: Calendar, Clock, Reminders, Notes, Safari, Photos, Camera, iMovie, iBooks, Numbers, Pages & Keynote. We’ll focus on organization, planning, sharing and documenting. We’ll be using iOS 11.1.2 or newer. Bring your Mac and your Apple ID. Please bring your Mac laptop, tablet and iCloud account information (your Apple ID).
Sunday, 1/27/19, Creativity with iOS
Learn how to use a combination of built-in applications for creativity on the iOS. We’ll cover using combinations of these applications for different scenarios: Notes, Safari, Camera, iMovie, iBooks, iTunes U, GarageBand, Numbers, Pages & Keynote. We’ll focus on brainstorming, gathering resources, telling stories and sharing. We’ll be using iOS 11.1.2 or newer. Please bring your iPhone and iCloud account information (your Apple ID).
Sunday, 2/3/19, The power of iCloud: organize your apple household
We’ll cover Family Sharing and Backups and well as sharing data across devices, like Calendars, Contacts and locations via iCloud. We’ll also talk about Apple Music and using the Family Subscription for it. The new Apple TV 4K will be demonstrated during this workshop. Class taught by Sue Werner.
