Spring “Outstanding” Film Series – Winter in Wartime

Thursday, March 14 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Winter in Wartime, 2008 – Set during the last months of World War II, this Dutch film focuses on Michiel, a 14-yer old boy who comes to the aid of a wounded British soldier, thereby getting involved with the Resistance. In this incredibly moving drama Michiel learns the harsh realities of war and its impact on the people involved. This film will be shown with subtitles. Rated R, 1h 43min.

After the film, a discussion will be led by Bob Kagan, Professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford.  Snacks to share are appreciated!
