Spring “Outstanding Film” Series – The Intouchables

The Intouchables, 2011 – This Golden Globe nominee is set in France where Philippe, a quadriplegic millionaire, is searching for a caregiver. He chooses Driss, an unlikely candidate with whom he develops a deep bond, leading to changes in ways unimaginable. Don’t miss this deeply life-affirming film that explores the power of friendship. This film will be shown with subtitles. Rated R, 1hr 52min.
After the film, a discussion will be led by Bob Kagan, Professor of Communication at Central Connecticut State University and the University of Hartford. Snacks to share are appreciated!
