Local poet Jay Forte and the Avon Free Public Library will host:  Kids and Family Poems & Activities

Jay Forte will read from his newest title, Along the Bumpy Road: Poems and wisdom to help you learn, laugh, and find your way along life’s bumpy road and Take a Ride on a Bird, an activity book for ages 3+

The first 30 children age 3+ will get their own copy of Take a Ride on a Bird & set of crayons to take home! (supplies limited).

The Let’s Activity Together series are activity books for kids aged 3+ that include poems, coloring pages and activities. The goal is to share meaningful life lessons through the poems and activities, to encourage family time away from technology. Find each on the website or Amazon.

Location: the open floor of the Children’s Department of the Avon Free Public Library, 2nd Floor
