After light refreshments there will be a short business meeting, followed by the Annual Awards Ceremony. This year’s winners will be announced on FOCLib.org. There will be a short introduction by our Connecticut State Library director, Deborah Schander. The featured speaker is Lynn Katz, a local author, former Avon Friends’ president, and recipient of the Kirkus Starred Review in March 2023. Her middle-grade novel is Chester and the Magic 8 Ball.
