Where?: The Art Studio on the 2nd Floor

What?: For Friends in Grades 3-6. Art Journaling is the process of creating a visual record of your thoughts, memories, feelings, and artistic expressions! Come create with us as we undertake new prompts and exercises to express ourselves! Create your own journal, and use various materials to start filling it! Each child participating will receive their own journal and personalize it. You’ll take it home at the end and continue on filling it!

Why?: Art Journaling gives you a tool and space to develop a creative practice and express yourself! With an art journal, a child can create a safe place to explore their feelings, memories and thoughts without judgment, constraints or guidelines. Plus, it’s fun!
